What can you do to help Earth?
An evening gathering to provide information about how you might live more sustainably and, along the way, save yourself some money.
First. Three short talks on energy saving in the home, recycling glass and other waste, and generally living in a more sustainable way.
Second. A small display from the Lochaber Environmental Group (LEG) and information from the Highland Council
Third. A chance to see the new LED lighting in the Hall and feel the difference between the different types of light bulbs.
Fourth. An open discussion over a glass of wine (or two) with the chance to raise questions on environmental issues with experts from LEG: such as free energy surveys, free refurbished bicycles, electric cars and bikes, insulation, composting, growing your own food…….
Fifth. A free LED light bulb (standard shape with a bayonet fitting). Available on a first-come basis with a limit of one per household.
