Ann,,Mesca & the Glen Uig Music Festiva
I was a weekly visitor, during the 1980s, and will never forget when Ann had to ask me to pick up two cases of mescal - because she had run out by Sunday morning!

Glenuig rocks and will always bring me smiles and happy memories (in spite of the miserable, new landlord I met in 2012)

Had the great pleasure of attending the world renowned music festival, on many occasions and songs by Ossian still form a major part of my music playlist

Thank you Norry for your comment and reminiscences. We are pleased to say that our Inn is now under new and much better management.

Fond memories
I have fond memories of the times I stayed at the Marino Lodge in Roshven. I started coming to the area before Glen Uig Hall was built, even before the old Lochailort Inn burned down. I still cherish the CD's I bought to support the construction of The Hall. Also spent many a happy night at the Glen Uig Inn of old. Been back umpteen times and during one of the visits I saw The Whistlebinkies perform in The Hall. Fond memories indeed. Will be back. Greetings from Holland.

thankyou
Recently we were travelling from Skye via Mallaig and the road through Glenluig to Strontian in our small motorhome. We were impressed by the community centre and grateful for the tap that enabled us to top up our water and the use of toilets (and showers if we had needed them). It made us feel welcome. We travel light, leave nothing behind and take only photos with us. We sat on one of your settees and took a "happy memory photo" -so now we are back home near the M62 in Yorkshire we can remind ourselves of our visit to a lovely part of the world.

Thanks
Stayed in Glenuig recently. Loved the whole area but especially the hall and Hub Club (but found the pub a bit stuffy!). Like your website too - so many great events over the years! Keep it up.
